Inclement Weather

In the case of bad weather, we will close if the public schools close.  This applies to the schools in Waunakee and Verona/Oregon for those locations.  Madison will close if the Madison schools close. Please check this website for cancellations if the schools do not close.   Our school year has up to 3 bad weather days built in.  If we don't use them, you get a longer school year! (we guarantee 30 weeks) If you wish to make up a class, please plan to make up in December or January.  There are no make-up opportunities Feb. through June (except for technique classes) because each class is working on a different routine for performance.  Please contact the main office at 829-2003 to learn how to schedule a make-up. 

Enrollment

When enrolling for Kehl's fall program, you are enrolling for the school year, except for Fairy Tale Ballet and some Pre-Ballet short sessions. You must notify us in writing if you do not intend to fulfull the school year committment. 

To assure that students are enrolled in the appropriate classes, please call to discuss your dancer's level with the Kehl instructors.  608-829-2003.

Attire

Proper shoes and attire are required. Dancers wear any color leotard and tights. Ballet classes wear pink ballet shoes. Tap dancers wear tan tap shoes with buckles. Jazz dancers wear black jazz shoes.  All shoes should be purchased at Kehl's to ensure a proper fit and color. All shoes are available to our dancers at very reasonable prices at the studio dance supply shop. 

No Refunds

Because you are holding a very valuable spot in our classes, there are no refunds available for any tuition paid. Credits may be available for injured dancers. Please speak with the director if you have a specific situtation.

Attendance

If you know you will be missing a class, please let the instructor know in advance.  this is especially important if you plan to miss more than one class in a row.  If you miss a class, you may obtain a make-up pass at the front desk for a class at the same level. Please check at the front desk for classes at that level.   Classes missed after Feb. 15 cannot be made up due to different annual performance routines learned in the class.

Returned Check Fee

There is a $20 fee for returned checks.
